Definition
An hourly send limit is a cap you set in BixoChat for each Instagram account: how many automated DMs and how many comment replies may go out in one hour at most. A busy hour then never sends hundreds of replies from your account in a row; anything over the cap waits in a queue and goes out the next hour.
Why it exists
Instagram can treat an account that sends many messages or comments in a short time as spam and restrict it for a while. Instagram publishes no official number. The hourly send limit lowers that risk on campaign days, when hundreds of comments would otherwise be answered within the same hour.
How to set it
On the account's connection page, under Hourly send limits, enter separate values for DMs and for comment replies, or click Use recommended limits if you are unsure. Start near your account's normal volume and raise it gradually before a campaign; after a restriction, halve it and raise it again a week later. Details: Why Instagram restricts accounts.
