The short version

When you look for a ManyChat alternative, the first question is what feels like too much: the price (per active contact), the flow builder (boxes and arrows), the panel language, or a multi-channel system when you only use Instagram. The answer picks the alternative: Meta's own tools if you want free, a keyword-based Instagram tool such as BixoChat if you want a trigger-and-reply setup with a panel in English or Turkish. This page puts both next to ManyChat and gives the five things to check.

Five things to check

  1. Meta's own login. The tool must connect to Instagram through Meta's API and never ask for your password. BixoChat connects through Meta's login; ManyChat presents itself as a Meta partner. Any "automation" app that wants your password puts your account at risk.
  2. The pricing model. ManyChat prices by monthly active contacts, BixoChat by monthly automated responses. Few people with long conversations favor per-contact pricing; many people with short exchanges favor per-response pricing. Run your own numbers.
  3. The setup model. Multi-step flows give flexibility and make the first setup longer. Trigger word plus reply gives less flexibility and a shorter first setup.
  4. Language. Which language will your team read the panel and the help centre in?
  5. Channels. Instagram only, or WhatsApp, Telegram and TikTok too? For the second, ManyChat's multi-channel setup is a real advantage; for the first it is an extra layer.

Which one fits whom

Meta's tools are enough if you want to tell everyone "we got your message", show an away message outside hours and answer a few keywords with fixed text. Setup: Instagram welcome message.

BixoChat fits if you have one Instagram account (or a few client accounts, as an agency), want "price" to get the price, "shipping" to get shipping info, "link" under a Reel to get the link by DM, and a few questions in DMs to collect leads; a panel in English or Turkish; every feature on every plan. Know its limits: no WhatsApp, no broadcasts, no API, no team roles. Details: What is BixoChat.

ManyChat fits if you will manage WhatsApp, Telegram or TikTok DMs from the same place as Instagram, build advanced automations, send broadcasts to your list, and have several people sharing the inbox. Details: What is ManyChat.

If you switch

Flows do not move between tools. The job is this: list which keywords trigger which reply in ManyChat, open a Direct Automation or Comment Automation in BixoChat for each line, paste the reply. Instagram hands an account's messages to one tool at a time, so disconnect ManyChat and remove its access in Instagram's settings (Apps and websites) before you connect BixoChat; the list you wrote down is what you re-enter.
