Definition
The AI assistant is the BixoChat feature that works across the whole workspace and answers the DMs and comments no automation caught. You describe your business once (up to 5,000 characters), write one goal for DMs and one for comments, and switch the channels on; the assistant writes text replies from that description.
What it does and does not do
- Does: answers free-form questions; uses the address, phone and hours saved in your profile; gets you started fast with 8 ready-made Templates.
- Does not: send anything but text (no images, cards or buttons); read your website or catalog; remember past chats; take orders or payments. It also keeps replying while you are in a chat yourself.
Who answers first
Automations always come first: the assistant answers only when no trigger matches. For DMs, switch the setting for all other messages at the bottom of the Direct Automation list to AI replies.
